Denver to Grand Mesa

Got up early to pick up the rental bike, a BMW F 800 GS.

We took off towards Fairplay and passed about $1M of sports cars... going 45mph. See ya later!
From Fairplay we passed the South Park City Museum and headed up a dirt road to Mosquito Pass. They should call it Mosquito U-Turn.

There were some great views and lots of great riding. These are somewhere along the route of Fairplay to Alma to Leadville to Aspen.

I highly recommend the drive from Granite to Aspen, and from Carbondale to Paonia. SO much fun and absolutely beautiful. Those roads make me miss my Buell and Corvette.

This is Dave, he made an appearance in South2North, I met him in Fairbanks, Alaska and we rode up to Prudhoe Bay together. This is our reunion tour.

Well, after a good 10 hours on the road, we finally made it to the cabin on top of Grand Mesa and I'm just to exhausted to come up with anything more interesting. Whiskey time.
